Dr. Wayne Buschmann, President and Founder

Wayne is the President and technical expert behind Synthox LLC.  His primary focus is on innovative technology and business opportunities in water treatment, waste reduction, energy and natural resource production; specializing in areas of membrane technology, electrochemical systems, chemical processing and materials science. 

Wayne has over 20 years experience in R&D, new product development, technology evaluation and industrial applications.  His last ten years have been devoted to inventing and leading the development of several technologies supported by the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, NASA, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and a variety of corporations and private investors.  Wayne has a particular interest in developing more effective communication and efficiency between multidisciplinary groups such as research, engineering, business development, and marketing.

Wayne has worked in a variety of settings including academic and government labs, small business, consulting, and a small district water utility board.  He worked as a Post Doctoral Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory between 1998 and 2001, received his Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Utah in 1997 and earned a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire in 1992.  He currently has one issued patent and five filed patent applications with USPTO, produced 18 peer-reviewed technical journal articles, and contributed to trade journal articles and other public publications.

Dr. Buschmann has teamed up with Allard Technology Advisors and ELS (Environmental and Life Support) Technologies to complete the commercialization of
Synthox™ and bring it to market on a global basis

Collectively, Allard and ELS have several technologies "in space" on both the Space Shuttle and International Space Station, many issued patents related to advanced chemistry, clean chemical processes, health & safety and water treatment and a long history of successfully commercializing technologies.
